This is such a wonderful cause and I have sent it on to so many of my friends and family. One suggestion....add a donate by paypal link to your webpage (or is it there and I didn't see it?) Hardly any of my friends have "checkbooks"....they are much more likely, as am I, to donate when they/we can just click a link to donate by paypal. At any rate I love your site and your family. --Helen (Indiana)

I came across this book as a sophomore at Ball State. I absolutely LOVE it. I have just recently graduated from Ball State with my elementary teaching degree. I want you to know whenever I get my classroom we will be doing a fundraiser for your organization. I think it is an AWESOME idea and it makes dealing with child cancer a little easier! Thanks for this GREAT book! --Jamie H (Indiana)

Kim, I'm so sorry for all you've been thru. I didn't know how else to find you once reading this. Kim, I would like to be screened as a bone marrow doner. How do we go about this? With all my love and prayers,

My son, Nick, was diagnosed with ALL Jan 2010 and when we went to Riley CLinic they told us about your project. Nick is 21 and had to drop out of college and this was a big encouragement to him. He is older than most of the children we see but is still a big kid so thanks for making him feel cared for. --cindy (indiana)

I tried to order a copy of your book "The Hair Fairy" but could not get through to the publisher's page. I did a search in their files and could not find the book title. I sure want to purchase your book. It has been a long time since I wanted to read a book so bad. JohnT Greensburg IN --John Tumilty (Greensburg IN)

Hello,
I just wanted to let you know how wonderful I think your book is. I never needed to look for books that addressed the topic of cancer at a child's level because our little girl who was diagnosed with a brain tumor when she was 3 months old, was too young to even know that she had cancer.
Natalie is now 15 months old, and we have just started a foundation in her name to help the families of pediatric cancer. After looking at numerous books, we will be including your book in the "journey kit" that we will be offering to families who are just learning of their child's diagnosis. You, without a doubt, will be bringing loads of smiles to the faces of these families- so your dream continues.
Thank you for writing such a great book!

Kim,
Your son Nolan was in my first grade class and I remember when you came and talked to our class about Nolan being sick and it is something that has stuck with me for a long time. About 2 years after Nolan passed away, my grandfather was diagnosed with cancer and the only thing that I could think about when my parents told me was about Nolan and the day that you talked to our class and it made things a bit better with that situation. Anyway, I am 22 now and sometimes I still think about Nolan. I wish your family the best and I think that this site is amazing and I just wanted to tell you that I think this foundation will help alot of people. Have a good day.

Dear Kim, thank you for writing such a wonderful book. It has helped Katie find "her voice". She has always been a "talker" but was hesitant to talk to others about her cancer ordeal. This Across Indiana episode was a break-through for her. You are all an inspiration to cancer families. Thanks again, Katherine McGee's grandmother. --suellen
